Who We Are
Julie Holbrook – President – Julie was born and raised in King County, moved away in 2005 and recently returned. Currently, she prepares federal and state income tax returns with an Advanced Small Business designation. Julie has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) for almost 20 years and had the opportunity to work in Russia (Western Siberia), Angola, Africa, Dubai UAE, and Iraq and has traveled to several other countries and cities. Among some of the types of projects she worked on were aerospace, mining, utilities, construction, technology, oil, gas, subsea operations and mass transit projects.
Upon her return to Washington, she found several King County cities in a state of decline, run down, neglected and in need of maintenance. Julie had worked closely with the former mayors of Kent, Renton and Auburn and knew how they had acted tirelessly to make their cities a place of beauty and safety for all residents. What public policies have contributed to this decline over the past 15 years?
When COVID hit and negatively impacted so many people, Julie began Save Washington as a way for people to help people all across our state.
